Director's NI Contributions - 20/21

For the tax year 20/21 Tempo has updated the way that National Insurance (NI) contributions are calculated.

Instead of seeing National Insurance contributions loaded towards the end of the tax year, the NI contributions will be spread out equally throughout the year.

The total amount of NI for the year will be the same, however, instead of seeing the director's net pay dropping at the end of the year the net pay will remain constant throughout.

Tempo will advise, as ever, when an NI or PAYE payment needs to be made by the company - normally every 3 months.
